This site is great in showing actual food portion sizes relative to things you might use everyday, or are more familiar with. For example, a serving of french fries is about 10 fries, or the size of a baseball. Portion control in America is a big problem. We tend to overeat for so many reasons- not knowing how big our portions should be is one. Eating too quickly is another. Next time you sit down for a meal, try analyzing your food to ensure that you are getting the right portion size, and that you are chewing thoroughly and eating slowly. Happy eats!
